Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician

Industrial Composite and Plastic Manufacturing facility with various equipment including:
Multiple Semi-automated Presses w/Individual Power Units (50-1000ton), Semi-automated Thermoform Ovens, Gas-fired Curing Oven, Gas-fired AMU's, 5axis CNC router, 6axis Robotic Waterjet, 7axis Robotic Spindle Router, Rotary-screw Compressors, Oil and Dry Vane - Vacuum Pumps, Pneumatic and/or Gear-actuated Fluid Pumps and Resin Dispensing Systems.
Candidate will be responsible for emergency, unscheduled, and preventive maintenance for current equipment and building, along with installation and maintenance of any/all new equipment.
Required Functions/Skills:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strong experience with troubleshooting, and repair of heavy industrial equipment, including electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical systems.
Strong aptitude and experience with 480vac 3-phase power systems diagnosing issues with electrical controllers, contactors, relays, transformers(stepdown and AC/DC), solenoids, servos, motors, heaters.
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with diagnosis, repair, disassembly, re-assembly of gear and/or pneumatic driven fluid transfer piston pumps, and control valves.
Ability to operate semi-automated manufacturing equipment for the purpose of diagnosis via HMI and/or Teach Pendant controls.
Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal, LOTO, and Fire Safety.
Demonstrate Safe Working Practices and/or communicate those needed for improvements to operations.
Display ability to work proactively, independently, with minimal guidance and sense of urgency to all tasks.
Working knowledge of HVAC fundamentals preferred.
Experience in light metal fabrication and/or welding.
Ability to read/understand electrical and mechanical schematics, part breakdowns, prints, and/or contact manufacturer for sourcing of repair parts and components.
Maintenance and Inspection of air compressors, vacuum pumps, hydraulics, electrical and/or plumbing, and other equipment on a routine basis.
General experience with electrical conduit and/or threaded pipe installation.
Facilitate the upgrade and/or relocation of existing equipment and systems, along with the installation of new equipment/systems as required.
Ability to operate various lifts and/or equipment necessary for completing the task.
Adequate computer skills for communicating with the team via email, tracking/logging repairs, sourcing components and/or other resources necessary for expedited completion of the task at hand.
Experience with PLC programming, diagnosis, troubleshoot preferred, but not required.
Assist in disposal of obsolete tooling/fixtures, and/or equipment required to facilitate future expansion of facilities.
